Carbon Clean is a pioneer in carbon capture technology, dedicated to helping industries achieve net-zero emissions. With over a decade of experience and 2.4 million operational hours across a variety of industrial sites, Carbon Clean is at the forefront of scaling next-generation carbon capture solutions.
Carbon Clean recognised the need for a corporate website that matched their technological advancements and industry leadership. Their existing website no longer served their needs, and they sought a platform that could effectively communicate their mission, engage a diverse audience, and support their growth ambitions. The new website needed to resonate with potential customers, investors, and the general public, while also elevating Carbon Clean’s brand above its competitors.
The project kicked off with an in-depth analysis of Carbon Clean’s competitors. This research was crucial in identifying gaps and opportunities to position Carbon Clean as an industry leader.
Fluid developed a comprehensive site map, which was approved by Carbon Clean, to guide the website’s structure. Following this, a full set of wireframes were created to map out the user journey and ensure all the relevant elements and information was included and available to the user at the right time and place.
Design concepts were developed that emphasised a modern, clean aesthetic. The designs spanned around 20 unique templates, and included a suite of new iconography for the brand as well as leveraging imagery from a photoshoot Fluid conducted at Carbon Clean’s new premises.
The team worked through multiple rounds of revisions to refine the templates. Each iteration incorporated feedback from key stakeholders at Carbon Clean to ensure the final design met their expectations. The templates featured advanced design elements, including parallax scrolling and subtle animations, to enhance user engagement.
