Making the move from offline to online

Peaks and Plains Housing Trust, a not-for-profit organisation in Macclesfield, Cheshire, is dedicated to providing affordable housing and community support services to improve local residents’ quality of life.

As part of their commitment to transparency and community engagement, the Trust publishes an annual review outlining its achievements, financial performance, and strategic goals. Previously produced in printed format, P&PHT decided to modernise their approach by creating a dedicated microsite for the report, aiming to reach a wider audience, including tenants, partners, and stakeholders, and increase visibility through digital channels like social media.

The Trust sought a solution that would present their annual report in an engaging, user-friendly format that was accessible and shareable across devices, particularly appealing to younger, tech-savvy audiences. The microsite needed to reflect Peaks and Plains’ values of inclusivity, clarity, and community. Fluid collaborated closely with the Trust to design and develop the microsite, ensuring it aligned with their brand and engaged stakeholders effectively. The microsite featured sections to explore key achievements and financial data, along with a responsive design for accessibility across devices.

Fluid also created engaging, bite-sized promotional animations highlighting key messages from the report, optimised for social media sharing. The microsite’s easy navigation and visually appealing elements helped drive traffic through targeted social media campaigns, resulting in higher engagement compared to traditional printed reports.
