ESM Operations, a global player in event safety, security, and crowd management, approached us to undertake a full brand refresh – feeling that their existing brand was outdated and didn’t reflect the growth and evolution of the company.

Operating at the highest level, the ESM brand is built on trust, professionalism, and the strength of its people.

An initial discovery session uncovered the whats, whys, and hows surrounding the business. Most notably, that their approach to events is highly multi-faceted, with each one comprising of a number of different elements that work together to deliver a seamless experience.

This idea inspired the creation of the block system – a visual representation of the multitude of considerations which are taken into account each and every time an event is delivered. No two events are the same – with different requirements and variables – so new block configurations are generated all the time to reflect this.

While retaining ESM’s signature sky blue, we expanded the palette with some additional deeper and brighter tones for balance and depth. The bold, condensed typeface aligned with the authoritative nature of the service offering and ESM’s straight-talking, honest approach.

The brand refresh included a full revamp of the existing website – from streamlining the user journey, wireframing, high fidelity prototyping, and final build.

The result is a visually striking site with presence, and increased user engagement. The client has also said they have registered an increase in new business enquiries since the launch of the new site.

Since the brand launch we have assisted in the delivery of a number of core assets, including; corporate brochures, social media templates and style guide, and a full brand guidelines document.
