Building resilience into the story
Following our work on SK tes’ previous Sustainability Reports, we were appointed again to deliver its 2025 report, helping shape a complex global sustainability story into a clear, confident and engaging publication.
The report brought together detailed ESG content from across SK tes’ international operations, covering its Protect, Preserve and Provide strategy, 17 Sustainable Impact Goals and an increasingly sophisticated approach to sustainability reporting.
Our role was to bring all of this together creatively, editorially and strategically, creating a report that was rigorous enough for specialist audiences while remaining accessible and engaging for a much broader readership.
We developed the overarching creative platform Resilience in the circular economy, providing a strong central idea around which the content and visual approach could be built.
The concept gave us a clear creative and editorial thread, helping connect a wide range of subjects within one cohesive narrative.
A bold circular graphic device became a distinctive feature throughout the report, while the established Protect, Preserve and Provide pillars were given their own colour and visual treatments to create structure and help readers navigate the publication.
Our involvement began well before the design stage. We supported the project from early planning and copywriting through to creative direction, design, data visualisation, editing, proofreading and final interactive PDF production.
Working closely with SK tes’ sustainability team and contributors across the organisation, we helped shape extensive source material, technical information and stakeholder input into clear, consistent copy. This included writing and editing content, developing headlines and messaging, restructuring sections and simplifying complex subjects to create a coherent tone and narrative throughout.
At the same time, we managed a substantial volume of evolving content, detailed performance data and multiple review stages, maintaining accuracy and consistency as the report developed.
With a large amount of detailed information to communicate, the design needed to do more than simply present the content. We used infographics, diagrams, maps, tables, icons, photography and visual summaries to break down complex subjects and make key information easier to understand.
The combination of strong editorial structure and visual storytelling helped create a publication that could work at different levels, allowing readers to quickly understand the key messages while still providing the depth required for those looking for greater detail.
Our work extended beyond the publication itself. We created a suite of supporting assets to help SK tes launch and promote the report across its digital channels, including animation, social graphics, website and download graphics, press release imagery and supporting campaign content.
By carrying the report’s visual language, imagery and messaging across these formats, we created a joined-up communications campaign rather than a standalone publication, giving SK tes multiple ways to share its sustainability story with different audiences.
The completed 2025 Sustainability Report brings a substantial amount of complex global information together within one clear and distinctive creative platform.
By supporting SK tes throughout the process, from planning and copy development to design, production and launch communications, we helped turn the annual report into a broader communications platform.
The result is a confident, accessible publication supported by a flexible suite of campaign content that enables SK tes to communicate its sustainability progress and ambitions consistently across multiple channels.
