The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn : Recruitment Campaign

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital needed to recruit 81 nurses to help them deliver safe, consistent care. But its location in King’s Lynn, Norfolk was off the radar for many potential candidates. Fluid was asked to create a recruitment campaign that would sell the benefits of living in and around the market town, just as much as it promoted working in the hospital.

KNOW

To kick start the campaign we immersed ourselves in the local environment. And we were more than pleasantly surprised. With a beautiful coastline, exceptional scenery and many leisure opportunities, King’s Lynn promised the perfect work-life balance for anyone moving to this beautiful part of the world.

FEEL

Our creative campaign featured real members of staff at work, each holding up a picture of themselves doing their favourite activity. The two images blend seamlessly together to give a window into their world outside of work. The posters and ad shells were supported by inspirational real life stories in the recruitment section of the hospital’s website. These explained in more detail why each person loved their role at the hospital and what they get up to in their spare time.

DO

The campaign is still in its infancy, but it’s already starting to have a positive effect on recruiting more staff to the hospital.

“We were blown away with the creativity of Fluid’s campaign. Now we’re looking forward to being impressed with the results!”
